Remove applicator from wrapping
The applicator comes in two parts: Tube with cap (where you place the suppository) and the plunger (the piece with the ring at the bottom).
Place the small end of the plunger into the large tube
This will allow you to push the suppository capsule up into the vaginal cavity when ready.
Place the suppository into the small end of the tube
Remove the cap from the tube, and use gentle pressure to push the suppository into the small end of the applicator. Allow the silicone stopper to move down, giving space for the suppository.
Find the right position before insertion
Either of these positions may work for you:
A) Lift on leg and rest it on a higher surface (bench, seat etc.)
B) Lay on your back with your knees bent
C)Stand with your feet spread apart with your knees bent.
Gently insert the applicator
Hold the applicator by the opposite end from where the suppository is. Insert it as far as it will comfortably go. Once it's deep enough, push on the plunger to insert the suppository.
Remove applicator
Once you have placed your suppository into the vagina, you can gently remove the applicator.
Wash your hands and applicators thoroughly
Wash your hands and the applicator with soap and water to avoid contamination. Dry well, replace cap and store in a cool, dry place.
